Hi guys.
Just wanna say, I've got my motivation back.
I was lost at some point as to whether I should continue chasing my dream,
but perphaps I should really consider hard, it's more than just a dream.
Got new motivation to move on, to improve, to conquer hard things..
and to make the impossible possible.
I got to continue working hard.
SCW ;)
Thank you for all that i am.

I guess my life's meant to be filled up
Guys!
I think my life's meant to be busy.
But fufilling
Haha,
probably no such thing as sitting at home and slack through the holidays
with a certain game or drama series. I think such a thing really don't click with me.
So far, I've worked many times for my part time outdoor catering service staff job already.
Been to places like art galleries, a CEO's bungalow, a vessel, a golf club...
I really like working because it brings me to different places that I might never get to step into
if not the oppotunity provided by the job. Most importantly, I get to meet(or catch up) with awesome people. Like the saying always go, good friends are always made through the toughest times. :)
Besides work, I'm also taking out time to practise my bass n drums.
Really feel the major need to improve, or else I will always be stuck at the same old standard.
Production has came to a halt due to the extension wire which blew in my room. Now
I can't hook up the speakers and stuff. Oh no, it's not like I have a lot of my holidays left.
Life's been a bliss so far.
It's more like, I'm beginning to learn to be a person who actively search for happiness.
and I thank God.
Anyway,
this is a video that I did as a promotion for my church's youth camp this year end.
I based the music on last year's camp theme song, which I composed together with
Lydia and Augustine last year.
just a short 1 minute video, hope to grab a chance and publicise for the camp :)

Stamina Test
Hey peeps.
{ 2012 F1 - COMO suite stewarding team :) }
I just ended a five day working streak.
Tiring.
Very tiring.
But yeah, it was undeniably a whole load of fun. :)
Basically,
on Wednesday and Thursday last week, I worked as a service staff (as usual) at
Opera Gallery, an art gallery located at ION Orchard.
While, that 2 days passed by in a breeze and the job was not as taxing.
Then F1 comes along straight.
This year's F1 was an eye-opener and a totally different experience.
Instead of doing service as usual, I was posted to the stewarding team. (AKA dish washing team/back-of-house).
Well some people might find it degrading to do stewarding, but neh, I think it's as
crucial as any other departments when it comes to running F&B services in the VIP suite.
And hell, the job was Tiring. 13 straight for Friday and Saturday, and 14 hours yesterday.
Although the job was exhausting and demanding, I really have to thank this bunch of
brothers (seen above in the photo) for making the whole experience a more delightful and
less hectic one. We really had fun cracking jokes and I really appreciate all the motivation and
encouragement from you all! :))
I can't catch up with time, it's seriously running too fast.
Zoom, and three weeks of holidays is over... No...
HAHA I better start making full use of the holidays! (This includes 'nua-ing' more)
Take care guys!

The past one week or so
Hey guys,
I remembered writing that I will share with you some cool jobs that I will be
doing (or rather, have already done) for my holidays.
Here's one!
Casterone,
The name of the ship I worked in from 8th-9th September.
Well, we basically worked as catering service staff (a better name for waiters)
on board for VIPs during the vessel's naming ceremony.
It is really a once.in.a.lifetime experience. I always complained that I have never
been onto a cruise and have been eagerly wanting a cruise trip... haha,
now I can openly brag to people that I have been on a $1 Billion worth vessel.
But honestly speaking,
The job is really tiring. We had to 'transform' the vessel's staff canteen into a
VIP dining area.
And guess what, we were almost left with half a day for the task
after settling into the vessel. (We travelled 45 mins on a small ferry from West Coast
Pier prior reaching the vessel, somewhere out in international waters).
The most laborious part is the clearing up I guess.
After the event which lasted for only a short 2 hours, we had to return the canteen into
it's original state. Carrying all the equipments back into the container is really... phew.
I can still feel my back aching a little.
But I think such work really helps me to build my perseverance.
Like what Asri, our manager, said
" Endurance is Perseverance",
it is so true.
We barely had sleep. Three hours of eye-shutter and the rest were tons of mind boggling
set up work and unloading of ridiculously heavy equipments. (For e.g all the Chinaware
the VIPs used to dine on).
Despite the tiredness, this trip is really worth it's while. An eye opener and a whole
new experience. Adding on, I got a chance to get together with my HTM mates who were
on board.
~
Besides work,
I have also been working on my arrangement project, Augustine's song 'The Living God'.
It is in it's making and I hope to finish the project by the end of September.
By then, I will hopefully be able to share it with all of you.
So far, Holidays have been packed but really fulfilling.
At first I wanted this holiday to be really laid back.. haha but doesn't seems to be that way.
(I just received another outdoor catering job this Friday :/)
Maybe I'm destined to be busy. All the time ;)

Fixed :)
For the past few days,
I've really been wanting to blog.
But my laptop was down,
for a short while though (not exactly so)..
Basically it kept dying sometime ago, and I was quite worried because
it's the holidays now and I need my computer! Entertainment needs and most importantly
my music software!
So I decided to bring it to doctor this afternoon. I practically spent half a day travelling to
another side of the country to get it fixed. I 'nua-ed' at IMM for 3 hours while waiting for
the laptop to be serviced. Yes, a long wait, but it's worth it :)
Now it's up and running, strong, fast and I hope it stays this way for a long long time.
Adding on as a bonus, the staff at the Samsung care centre were efficient and very polite!
Excellent customer service and product service recovery! Thumbs up!
Anyway, I've been very stagnant when it comes to arranging some music lately.
I actually had a project which I was working on for some time but it got wiped
out recently due to the laptop crash. But MY FAULT. For not backing it up anywhere
except my lap's desktop. 'I trusted my computer'. ~Excuses
But now that everything is back up and kicking strong, I should not take my 7 weeks for granted.
Tell you, when school reopens, that's it. No need to think about arranging.
Go Chao Wang. Chase your dreams. ;)
I suddenly feel a surge of energy.
Thank God :)

No confidence this time round
Hey Guys! :)
I'm very nervous! Two more papers for end-semester exams coming up tomorrow
and Wednesday and I am so not prepared.
Yes I did study but there is just too much not memorized and understood.
Got a prediction that my grades this semester is going to skydive.
I really hope and pray for the best. I just can't wait for the papers to end so I can
chuck away some burdens and worry less. Like mentioned in the previous post.
Anyway, holidays is not even here yet and I already received couple of part-time
job offers. Some are really interesting. Will tell you guys more when things are more
or less confirmed :) I think this holiday is going to be fun.. not too packed, but not mundane
at the same time.
Exams, just brush by me. I really don't like you.
Please pray for me that I have strength, wisdom and courage for the papers.
Because I really have no confidence this time round...
OK. Officially signing off. Take Care Guys!
God, I want to hang on you. :) Please let me be strong! ;)
